2. Does the ice maker need a water line connection?

Yes. The Beverage Fridge with ice maker connects to a standard household potable water supply via the included 6-foot ¼-inch water line. Inlet water pressure should be between 28 psi and 85 psi. For best ice clarity, use a water source with a TDS (total dissolved solids) level within 50 ppm.

3. Can I use it as a freestanding unit, or is built-in installation required?

Both options are supported. The unit is engineered for flush under-counter installation in standard 24-inch cabinetry, but works equally well as a freestanding appliance in a bar area, garage, or entertainment room. Adjustable front and rear leveling feet accommodate uneven floors in either configuration.

4. What temperatures does the beverage zone reach?

The right-side beverage zone adjusts from 34°F to 65°F (1°C to 18°C) in single-degree increments — wide enough for everything from chilled lager (38°F) to a room-temperature single malt (55–60°F). Temperature is displayed and controlled via an electronic touch panel inside the cabinet. The left freezer zone is fixed at 0°F (-18°C) for reliable ice storage.

5. How loud is it? Can I install it in a living room or open kitchen?

The Unit operates at ≤38 dB measured at one meter — comparable to a quiet library. The inverter compressor starts and stops gradually rather than cycling on and off abruptly, which eliminates the vibration hum typical of conventional coolers.
